Spartan Stores is proud and excited to continue the support of our local communities and the state through the "My Michigan Matters" program. Through July 30, 2011, Spartan Stores will run the campaign in its D&W Fresh Market, Family Fare, Glen's Markets and VG's. Monies raised in the local stores will be combined with the efforts of the Spartan Stores Foundation to help fight hunger, advance health and wellness, and support youth development, education, and literacy throughout the state.

We have a responsibility to step up and enrich our neighborhoods by investing our Company resources. By focusing on the staples in life – food, shelter, education, and opportunity, we can help open doors to brighter futures for all of the people we serve, especially those struggling to make ends meet."
Customers may contribute to the "My Michigan Matters" by donating $1, $2, or $3 increments at the checkout lane. In return, guests receive $4 worth of coupons.
